April’s MGB – Monthly Garden Bouquet
My April bouquet is a humble one, but special to me because it is my last tribute to spring. By this time next month, my garden will be full of summer blooms.
My purple Violas had been blooming for me since October. Their pretty faces greet me each day by my front door.
The sweet, tiny flowers of my Alyssum have sweetly perfumed the air.
The beautiful, tubular flowers of my Bower Vine stand on either side of my front entry so that I am surrounded by flowers as I walk up to my home.
My April bouquet
I would love it if you would come join me and other garden bloggers as we each create a bouquet from our gardens. MGB occurs during the third week of each month.
I can’t wait to see what bouquets you create.
Please send me a link to your bouquet as a comment to this post and I will post your link so that others can visit you and see your bouquet. Please visit the links below to see more beautiful April bouquets.

That is a lovely tribute to spring, Noelle! I'll try to get the courage to cut some of my blooms off this week and see what I can come up with. Sounds like a fun meme! (I'm no floral designer though.)
One word – lovely! I like the container too!
Noelle, what a gorgeous bouquet of spring blooms. I recognize many of them from your yard. It's a little bittersweet though that this will be your last spring bouquet – it means the heat of summer is right around the corner.
Such a sweet looking bouquet!
Gorgeous!! what a lovely bouquet…fabulous beauty!! I love making them too. thats so cool i didnt realize you do this every month..yay..I am sure to join in on the fun when summer is in full swing here! Lovely!
Kiki~
What a wonderful idea! Did you invent this? I will happily participate. Fingers crossed I have something to show next month. Very pretty bouquet.
Noelle, This is so inspiring, especially for those of us who are not good at flower arranging! Great color combination in your bouquet. I'll try to do one next month.xx
Beautiful bouquet Noelle! The bottle is a wonderful accent.
I love this one, it's so sweet with the Alyssum. I love your container too. I actually just finished doing mine, I ran out of time yesterday. I'll post it tomorrow. I had a hard time finding much right now, most everything in bloom has little flowers.
A beautiful bouquet Noelle, but it made me a little sad. I so miss the beautiful pink bower vine we had at our last house. It always looked good, even in the most dreadfully hot summers.
Noelle: Very lovely bouquet! I would love to join, but I have not got the concept to cut the flower from my own garden yet (maybe it is a newbie gardener thing:). Recently the job at working place is quite demanding, I hope I can join you next month. Meanwhile, I will enjoy all the other fellow gardeners' bouquets! Very nice MEME it is!
BTW, Thanks for the info about the Globe Mallow seeds. I tried again this past week. If I still don't success, then I might try in the fall. You sent me plenty of seeds, and I did not use them all yet. Thanks!
Perfect little bouquet!
A fantastic meme and a beautiful bouquet! gail
Mom your arrangement is so beautiful! I LOVE the color combination you used! I can't wait to see the bouquets of other people also!
What happen to these plants after spring? Do they totally die or go dormant (alive)
Cute bouquet, lovely colors. I always love the look of old bottles, it really adds to it too.
Hi Noelle, i am back from a month of detour. This idea of making a bouquet from the garden is very nice, how lovely. I love what you did, of course because my favorite is viola or pansies. Unfortunately, it doesnt thrive in the country.
Humble, my foot! Still too much snow here to make any sort of bouquet worth sharing. Yours is charming though. I'll have a talk with my garden and see what we can do for next month.

very pretty.
Stunning picture of the flowers, will definitely make my day. Keep posting.
What a pretty spring bouquet, Noelle! I've decided to rise to the challenge this month and have created my own garden bouquet at this link: http://www.theenchantedearth.com/2010/04/upside-down-bouquet/
This was a really fun exercise, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. 🙂
I've got my post up this morning 🙂

Sweet faces!! Lovely bouquet Noelle!
Oh I do like this idea, found you via Catherine, Gardener in Progress. Will see if I can do a post for this week, if not will join in next month for sure
What a lovely concept! And I like your approach of gardening for scent as well.
This is such a lovely idea, Noelle. I will try to remember to join in next month, and the next and so on. I love seeing the bouquets and your sweet one with the alyssum and violas, flowers that also bring joy here in TN was especially charming for its simplicity. 🙂

Hi Noelle,
I love that blue bottle that you used for a vase. It's fun looking for things around the house to use for vases. Your sweet bouquet is very pretty. I just posted my bouquet.

Yours is lovely, Noelle…and I have a bouquet sitting on my kitchen windowsill, picked just yesterday;-) I will get it to you in a post by tomorrow, as I just posted something today (oh yeah, it was the final announcement for winners for the earth day project, and I'm sorry to say you did not get chosen (randomly)…I would have loved to send you something! Oh well, thanks for joining in, because you helped to make this a successful event;-)
Your bouquet is lovely! I love the combination of violas, alyssum, and bower vine. I can see it sitting on a kitchen table with country breezes blowing in. OK, I know you are in Arizona, but that's the image i get!
Love it and love the container choice too! Great job Noelle!
I love the happy face of a pretty pansy too Noelle, so I really like this bouquet 🙂 My attempt is up at http://gippslandgardener.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/my-garden-bouquet-mgb-for-may/
Such a lovely bouquet, Noelle! I would participate, but I can't bring myself to cut off any of my blooms just yet. I do have a simple arrangement of lilacs on my kitchen table–nothing fancy, but it smells divine!
I'd love that bouquet in my work table at home! Wow! Pansies! What else can I ask for!!!!
Noelle, I adore your bouquet! So pretty. I'll be sure to post a bouquet before the end of the week!!
that is the sweetest little arrangement! too cute!
Thank you all for your compliments and for encouraging me in this rather new meme. I love the bouquets that some of you have created as well. I can't wait to see what you create in May 🙂

Here ya go, Noelle;-) This is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do now!
